August 27, 2020 – 5PM: Voter Registration Deadline for unregistered citizens to register to vote before the September 26, 2020 Town Election.
September 8, 2020 – September 25, 2020: In-Person Absentee Voting at Town Hall
September 26, 2020: The General Election! Polls are Open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Through the Mail or In-Person!
Mail-In Absentee Voting
By registering to vote, you become eligible to vote by Absentee Ballot. Please see the Request for Absentee Ballot Form By Clicking Here. Because of the COVID-19 Pandemic, Dewey Beach is recommending voting by mail to ensure the health and safety of other citizens and poll workers! Request Absentee Ballot NO LATER than September 15th make sure you receive your Absentee Ballot in the mail. After receiving your Mail-In Absentee Ballot, please fill out your Mail-In Absentee Ballot correctly and send your ballot BACK! Your ballot MUST be received by September 26th to be counted.
In-Person Absentee Voting
OPTION 1
If you have requested an Absentee Ballot through the mail, you can take your already completed Absentee Ballot to the Dewey Beach Town Hall, located at 105 Rodney Ave, Dewey Beach, DE 19971 starting on Tuesday, September 8th, 2020! Take your Absentee Ballot down to the Dewey Beach Town Hall, Tuesday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM. In-Person Absentee Ballot Voting Ends Friday, September 25th at 12 PM.
OPTION 2
If you would like to Request an Absentee Ballot AND Vote AT THE SAME TIME, please see The Absentee Ballot Form by CLICKING HERE, and follow these steps:
1) Fill out Your Absentee Ballot Request Form.
2) Bring Your COMPLETED Absentee Ballot Request Form to Dewey Beach Town Hall between Tuesday, September 8th and Friday, September 25th.
3) Receive Your Absentee Ballot from Election Officials at the Dewey Beach Town Hall.
4) Fill out your Absentee Ballot you just received.
5) Hand your Absentee Ballot back to Election Officials.

In-Person Electronic Voting
If you prefer to Vote Electronically and In-Person, please Join us on Election Day on Saturday, September 26th from 10 am to 6 pm at the “Lifesaving Station” in Dewey Beach, located at #1 Dagsworthy Avenue, Dewey Beach, DE 19971. When visiting the “Lifesaving Station” on Election Day, please Wear a Mask, Bring your ID (Drivers License or Another State Issued ID) and please Social Distance while waiting in line!
